Computers

Every computer signed in with your Sesame account appears in the web client and to your Sesame agent, with its own sessions. Each session runs on one computer, in one of its folders.

In the web client, Add a computer in the menu at the bottom of the session list shows these steps with commands to copy.

  1. On the new computer, install Sesame Link.

  2. From the folder you want new sessions to open in, sign in with the same Sesame account:

    Terminal window
    sesame-link auth login
  3. In the browser that opens, sign in and enter the code from the terminal. Sesame Link starts on its own once you’re signed in.

On the computer, sign out:

Terminal window
sesame-link auth logout

This stops Sesame Link and removes the computer from your account. Its sessions and their history stay on the computer. To also remove Sesame Link itself, run sesame-link uninstall instead; see Uninstall.

If you no longer have the computer, run this from any signed-in computer instead:

Terminal window
sesame-link machine revoke <machine_id>
